The process of creating a book is kind of amazing. We were about half way through doing the art for the book, and Scarletta wanted to start having discussions about the cover.

Obviously, the cover is a VERY important part of what the book is about. It is the first thing that people see, what will make them pick it up and take a look. And, hopefully, if they like it, they’ll buy it!

So we started talking about what kind of images we wanted on the cover to try to emulate what the book is about. We wanted it to be fun and colorful and capture people’s attention in stores. We came up with about 5 or 6 different ideas of what could be on the cover. There was tons of discussion.

So, after plenty of discussion, THIS is how it evolved.
